Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the packed brown sugar to the melted butter. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Carefully add the water to the sugar mixture. Stir until combined.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat. Allow it to simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes, or until the syrup slightly thickens.
